Balance & Renew Day Retreat

  • Genuine Work 5 Mc Donough Street Dayton, OH, 45402 United States (map)

The Balance + Renew Retreat will help you feel the energy of the Spring Equinox within as we collectively shake off the cold, drab debris of winter, wake up to our innate potential, and create the life we want to live with renewed clarity and direction.  The Spring Equinox marks the start of spring and with it comes accelerated growth and illumination as the earth sprouts to life once again. It is a time of open-mindedness, where we can see our life with fresh perspective. It is a pioneering time, perfect for manifesting, beginning something new, making a fresh start, or re-energizing something that has become bare.

At this time of year, the sun shines in equal parts on the northern and southern hemispheres and day and night are equal. Because the equinox is all about equilibrium, we will prioritize balancing our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual bodies.

Within this gathering we will:

  • Come together in community

  • Create space to reconnect with ourselves

  • Witness our own and each other's stories

  • Meditate, journal, walk, be

  • Develop friendships and connect authentically with one another

  • Participate in the sacred art of ceremony to ground our intentions

Our gathering will be one of celebration. You will leave with renewed energy, enthusiasm, and potency, full of the brightness and potential that lies before you.

Brought to you by Candace Dalmagne-Rouge and Bridget Flaherty. About the Facilitators

Candace Dalmagne-Rouge

Candace Dalmagne-Rouge is the Founder of Ceremony, on a mission to help people honor, heal and celebrate the losses, transitions, and achievements of life. She does that by creating opportunities to cultivate sacred, inspired space - either alone through ritual kits, or with others through community gatherings - to bring power, presence, and reverence into life.

Candace was called to bring this vision to life after her ceremony experience began when she miscarried in 2019. She intuitively created a ceremony for her and her husband to grieve and heal and it was transformative in their healing journey - both immediately and over time.

She continues to use ceremony in many aspects of life - from the mundane to working through challenges to manifesting the heart’s desires. With nearly a decade of experience supporting entrepreneurs, small businesses, and startup ecosystems both locally and internationally, Candace combines her knowledge in entrepreneurship with her passion for holistic wellbeing in this latest venture. She has an MBA from the University of Dayton and outside of work, can be found raising her 3-year-old twins. She is passionate about sharing the restorative power of ceremony with people around the world.

Bridget Flaherty

Bridget Flaherty is an award winning storyteller, a writer, a workshop leader, a business process improvement consultant, a podcast host, a mother, and a grandmother. She is the co-host of Tear, Tides, and Transformation: A Podcast About Healing, where she and KeAnna Daniels interview women who have triumphed over trauma, giving center stage to stories of truth, courage and grace. She is also the founder of LORE Storytelling, a business that teaches people the art of sharing a personal story, to give voice to the community and to improve business communication. She believes that stories connect us. Whether sharing your story on a podcast, on a stage, or in a team building workshop with your coworkers, real-life, personal stories remind us that we are part of something bigger than ourselves.
